TG Precision Ltd is pleased to announce the commissioning of a further Hurco TM6 CNC Turning Centre .
This machine is fitted with a magazine barfeed to reduce batch cycle times and improve efficiencies, and complements the existing range of turning and machining centres whilst adding much needed capacity for smaller diameter turning work.
Hurco was again selected because of the ease of programming, both online and at the machine, and programs can be instantly switched to and from our other Hurco machines. Tooling, particularly specialised tooling for particular jobs is also interchangeable - and we know it will work! This flexibility allows us to provide the service levels and reduced lead times increasingly needed by our customers.
The increased capacity and enhanced bar feeding capability will enable TG Precision Ltd to offer continued high quality and competitive prices to our customers, particularly for larger batch sizes.
As planned, our new Hurco VM10 was installed and commissioned at the end of January 2011 and is now fully operational. Our off-line simulation software now enables us to prepare quotations quickly and accurately whilst knowing machining times for new jobs – this means that we can confidently offer our most competitive prices, first time.
We are pleased to announce that we have purchased a new Vertical Machining Centre from Hurco Europe Ltd. The Hurco VM10 will be commissioned at the end of January 2011.
This new machine allows us to offer fast turn-round accurate 3-axis machining of all materials in production quantities. Hurco's conversation programming, rapid automatic tool change and rigid tapping capabilities all gives us the opportunity to provide customers with improved delivery times at cost-effective prices.
From 1st January 2011 TG Precision Ltd has taken a new lease on an adjoining unit, which doubles the size of our production facility. This will enable us to expand further, and allow space for a greater range of machinery to offer additional services and satisfy customer demand. This long term investment will result in even better service to our clients, both existing and new.Watch this space for news of the first of the new machines!
